OSTEO-GEN™ - Equine Bone Building and Repair Support
Increases Horse Bone Strength and Density, Promotes Bone and Cartilage Development
Osteo-Gen™ is a state of the art formulation that supports equine bone and cartilage development and repair. By utilizing bio-available calcium, phosphorous, manganese, zinc, and vitamin D, Osteo-Gen™ is formulated to:
- Promote bone and cartilage development in foals, yearlings, and horses in training
- Help increase bone strength and density
- Supply nutrients needed for optimal repair of damaged bone and cartilage
It has been shown that increased excretion and reduced retention of calcium occurs in horses once they enter training and become stall bound, causing demineralization of bone. Therefore, Osteo-Gen™ should be fed to all horses entering competitive training and to horses with bone and cartilage damage.
Osteo-Gen™ can be fed to horses of all ages and should be used in conjunction with Orthopur-Si or Osteo-Sil™ (coming soon) for complete horse bone and cartilage support.
Osteo-Gen used alone will support bone and cartilage health, but will not be as effective in healing bone injuries unless used with Orthopur Si or Osteo-Sil™ (contact gettyequinenutrition@gmail.com to order Osteo-Sil) at the same time or consider Orthopur-Si.
Ingredients
Each 2.5 ounces provides:
- Calcium citrate: 10 grams
- Phosphorus: 5 grams
- Copper (proteinate): 80 mg
- Zinc (proteinate): 330 mg
- Manganese (proteinate): 300 mg
- Magnesium sulfate/oxide: 3 grams
- Vitamin D3: 5000 IUs
- Yeast culture: 5 grams
Feeding Directions (Yeast Base)
Feed 1.25 ounces (one scoop) per 550 lbs of body weight. For a full-sized, 1100 lb horse, feed 2.5 ounces per day.
