Thiamine is one of eight B vitamins. It is mainly involved in energy metabolism. However, at high doses, it has a calming effect on the horse's nervous system. Anecdotal evidence suggests that Thiamine, in high dosages, is highly effective in calming. It may also be helpful for non-infectious diarrhea problems. Finally, anecdotally, it also appears to be a natural insect repellent.
Ground flaxseed and yeast culture base. 1,000 mg of Thiamine per scoop.
The enclosed scoop size is 11 cc in volume, holding approximately 5 grams when filled to just below the lip of the scoop ("scant").
