What is the difference between Reitsport HA-100 Lite Complete and Reitsport HA-100 Complete?
When you compare ReitSport HA-100 Lite Complete product to the Reitsport HA-100 Complete, you will find two notable differences:
- A smaller 5 ounce serving that provides 3 ounces of flax: This compares to the larger 6 ounce serving for the standard ReitSport HA-100 Complete product. So, by choosing the Lite version, you'll be feeding an ounce less flax (25% reduction in calories).
- Better tasting mineral supplementation: Originally, the Lite product versions were developed to help accommodate the "picky eater". By changing the sources of the trace mineral content the Lite versions are more appealing to the picky eaters.
What Stays the Same?
Other than the two minor differences outlined above, ReitSport HA-100 Lite Complete and ReitSport HA-100 Complete are virtually identical. When you compare serving vs. serving (5 oz. vs. 6 oz.) you'll see that a serving of either will provide all of the critical ingredients in identical amounts. These products also share identical B-complex and probiotic supplementation.
Directions for Use
Provide to horses weighing 1,100 Lbs+ (500kg) at the rate of FIVE (5) ounces (142 grams) per day. This is equivalent to 2 1/2 scoops (each scoop is 1/2 cup in volume). Serving size may be reduced proportionately, based on weight, for younger horses, lighter breeds, ponies, etc.
Introduce the product gradually, starting with approximately one (1) ounce (28.4 grams) the first day (about 1/2 scoop). Gradually increase the daily usage rate over the following 7-14 days until the full daily serving is being provided.
Daily serving may be divided. For example, the full 5 ounce serving might be divided and provided in the morning and evening.
The enclosed 1/2 cup scoop will hold approximately two (2) ounces (57 grams) when filled to the 1/2 cup line. 2 1/2 scoops -- filled to the 1/2 cup line--will provide approximately five (5) ounces (142 grams). Please note that the 1/2 cup line is located approximately 1/4" below the lip of the scoop.
